Her career path started as a special needs educator, then as a teacher in elementary, secondary and postsecondary levels. She has also enjoyed being a school principal. As a superintendent, Eug\u00e9nie is responsible for student achievement in elementary and secondary schools. She is at the helm of the 21st Century learning leadership team, the Consortium d\u2019apprentissage virtuel de langue fran\u00e7aise de l\u2019Ontario (francophone online learning) and she leads the innovation and deep learning initiatives as well as the CECCE\u2019s Student Exit Profile. She possesses a vast professional network in Ontario and collaborates with international authorities in education, including the EdCan Network as an Advisory Council member. Eug\u00e9nie\u2019s passions and priorities are learning, well-being, growth mindset and the success of every student in a complex and evolving world.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator border_width=”2″ el_width=”40″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/6″][vc_column_text]\"\"[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”5\/6″][vc_column_text]<\/a>Emilie Cormier<\/strong> has been a Professor at College La Cit\u00e9 for over 3 years. As a member of the \u00c9quipe d\u2019innovation p\u00e9dagogique at the College, she is always looking for new tools and technologies to improve the student\u2019s experience in her classrooms. She is a Professional Engineer with a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) focused in Mechanical Engineering from University of Ottawa. She is currently undertaking a master\u2019s degree in education, with a specialty in educational technology.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator border_width=”2″ el_width=”40″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/6″][vc_column_text]\"\"[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”5\/6″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1604495852758{margin-bottom: 15px !important;}”]<\/a>Benjamin \u201cSenorBenji\u201d Denis<\/strong>, Marketing Director, is the main communications link for Esports Academy of Canada with its current and future partners. He received his degree in Business Administration, BBA, in 2015 at the University of Quebec in Montreal, but it is in 2016 with the creation of the \u201cMaplestone League\u201d that he made himself known on the electronic sports scene Quebec. The Maplestone League has quickly become a reference for its professionalism and its creation of innovative content. Benjamin is an initial member of Montreal Esports and was part of all his adventures.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Primarily in charge of partners and sponsorships, Benjamin has also organized several major tournaments and broadcasts. She greatly enjoys creating and implementing authentic leaning experiences to allow my students the opportunity not only to better their knowledge and know-how, but to further develop their workforce skills. In addition to her professional career, she is co-chair of the \u00c9quipe d\u2019innovation p\u00e9dagogique at Coll\u00e8ge La Cit\u00e9 as well as co-chair of the Provincial Heads of Pre-health Coordinators Group. Dr. Mastrilli has extensive experience in developing, coordinating and delivering innovative programs to nurses and allied health care providers. Dr. Mastrilli and her colleagues are recipients of several grants for the development and evaluative studies into the effectiveness of virtual simulation. Building systems has been a major focus of his work throughout my 20 years in higher education. He\u2019s done this at many levels going from small scale projects within the classroom to large initiatives involving a number of institutions. Mixing a deep understanding of pedagogy and of IT technical skills, he has always fully embrace the opportunity that arises at the intersection of both fields of study. He has held this position since 2016. He has also coached the Overwatch team for the same club and is involved in several volunteer projects oriented around the training and well-being of casual players. Through his experience as a transition house social worker and his medical research work, Dr. Tran has learned to work with people with severe physical and mental disabilities.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1604347892636{margin-bottom: 15px !important;}”]As part of his duties at the Academy, Mr. Tran will be able to use his knowledge in coaching, biology and neuropsychology. She is a leader in developing and researching virtual simulations. These simulations won seven prestigious awards. While gaining international attention, the virtual gaming simulations are now pervasive in nursing education throughout North America.
